Is lockdown getting you down? Are you sick and tired of those same old meals at home? Had enough of trying to think what to cook? Are you craving a restaurant meal? Then we have the solution for you!
Manjits, Australia’s first Indian restaurant and mainstay in Sydney’s foodie scene is now offering “Manjits at home” range.
The Manjits Home range sees some of their high quality Indian food, prepared fresh by hand, then vacuum sealed and sold in store ready for you to have from the comfort of your home and PJ’s. The meals have a shelf life of 14 days which is awesome as you can do a good shop and keep them ready to eat and they have no added preservatives or stabilisers. You’ll also note there are gluten-free, dairy free and vegetarian options.
We’ve been to the Manjits restaurant multiple times and love their food, especially their curries. So we were keen to have some at home whilst can’t dine in.

💚 Butter Chicken 🧡 Tikka Masala 💚 Lamb Korma 🧡 Rogan Josh 💚 Beef Vindaloo 🧡 Palak Paneer 💚 Malai Paneer 🧡 Veg Biriyani 💚 Chicken Biriyani 🧡 Yellow Dal
We tried an ever popular choice, the butter chicken – the brightly golden chicken is thickly covered with the aromatic creamy curry sauce and served with a portion of rice. Beautiful flavours and it is everything you love about Indian food.
Their Beef Vindaloo has a good spice kick to it, so be prepared! It is cooked with vinegar and garlic, pepper and red chillies. For the seasoned Indian eater who can manage the heat! We love it!
The vegetarian favourite, Palak Paneer is also excellent. Cubes of cheese in a paste of puréed spinach. The mild curry is seasoned with ginger, garlic, garam masala, making for a super smooth dish.
We thoroughly recommend you give the Manjits home range a try. They are sold at IGA’s, Service Stations and Grocery Stores. Check out their website to find the closest to you.
