We live in Sydney and continue to be impressed by the range of activities and experiences available. When we found out about ‘The Gentleman Magician’ this appealed to us as something quite different. This is a classic magical show for adults held in the Sir Stamford, Circular Quay.   We do a read up before … Continue reading The Gentleman Magician – a magical soirée

We’ve been Insta friends with Kate for a while now, admiring, liking and engaging with each other’s pages. Kate drawing inspiration for food and coffee from us (we hope!), and us making a list of all the baby stuff we should buy from her. Whilst down on a trip to the South Coast, we were … Continue reading Kate Inglish Designs @ Nowra

Whilst on a trip down the South Coast, we tried out the family owned and operated brewery in Gerringong, where they produce handcrafted beer and cider on site. From Lager to Pale Ale, IPA, NEIPA, a nitro vanilla stout and mango oat cream sour, you’re in for a treat. Grab a beer paddle and decide … Continue reading Stoic Brewery @ Gerringong

Clay Coffee Collective @ Gerringong

Clay Coffee Collective is aptly named, for the cafe showcases a range of ceramics stacked up high as decor and each coffee ordered is served is a ceramic cup. We hear that the clay is care of Brigita Hammel, an Australian artist. The cafe can be found in a narrow alley of the main strip … Continue reading Clay Coffee Collective @ Gerringong

Stacks Burger House is not just a burger house at all, it’s a cafe, coffee spot and hun of style. Owners Jason & Emma Young opened the store, and also own the Fish tribe project on the same street in Kiama Downs. They’ve got a good thing going in the area. When we heard Chef Brent Strong had opened a new restaurant in Berry, we made sure to visit. We had sampled his exquisite food over the past two years at Bangalay Dining in the Shoalhaven and really enjoyed it. His new venture is ‘Harvest Berry Mountain’ on the Main Street of Berry. This is essentially … Continue reading Harvest Berry Mountain

Located in a small strip of shops in Kiama Downs (north of Kiama), you’d be cheering as a local for there is basically all you need in one place; an IGA, liquor store, burger shop and cafe(s), a gym and they’re only a stones throw from the beach. One of these shops is what we’d … Continue reading Upscale fish and chips @ Kiama Downs

Finishing off our Newcastle trip with a visit to @popologelateria for some artisan gelato! 🍦 #popologelateria #gelateria #gelato #icecream #cherry #vanilla #sugar #dessert #artisan #newcastle #sydney #travel #holiday #lifestyle #travel #ilovensw #getaway #wafflecone
Estabar cafe in Newcastle is in a great location right on the beachfront, with a street level and risen area, it’s perfect to check out the waves and enjoy your brekkie outdoors if you so please. This was the best experience of our Newcastle visit, for the food was amazing and each and every staff member was so friendly and welcoming. Service was so fast and we were overall super impressed. There’s so many great sounding food options and can grab eggs your way with a choice of additions. We both ordered scrambled, one with a macadamia and miso pesto and the other with brinjal pickle, feta, fresh curry leaf dukkah. These were both so tasty and a little different to the regular scrambled eggs we’d get so we enjoyed it a lot. Combined with a single 0 coffee, it was a great brekkie @estabar_ #estabarnewcastlebeach #estabar #newcastle #holidays #travel #holidayvibes #food #eggs #scrambledeggs #bread #sourdough #rye #breakfast #brunch #foodie #blog #coffee #cafe #latte #flatwhite #cappucino #singleo #singleorigin #coffeelover #caffeine #espresso
Out and about in Merewether, Newcastle for the Rip Curl Pro - checking out the street art 🖼 surfing 🏄‍♂️ and enjoying the sunshine ☀️#newcastle #merewether #beach #beachside #surf #wsl #ocean #surfing #waves #art #graffiti #paint #pro #ripcurlpro #corona #nsw #travel #holidays #getaway #explore #sunshine
We were up in Merewether last weekend to check out the WSL surf comp. We tried Convoy Commune for a coffee which is made with their own signature blend using a blend of specialty beans from Brazil, Costa Rica and Ethiopia. An interesting flavour of malt and chocolate. We enjoyed the coffee. Whilst we though the decor fits perfectly with its beachy vibes, the cafe is currently undergoing renovations so it will be interesting to see the changes! @convoycommune #convoycommune #merewetherbeach #merewether #newcastle #espresso #latte #filter #coffee #wow #love #cappucino #mocha #flatwhite #trueprotein #smoothies #decor #beachy #beachvibes #tea #shakes #chocolate #milk
Always a tradition when we visit Mollymook to dine at Rick Stein at Bannisters - this time we tried the fish tacos, Japanese Fish cakes and the blue eyed trevalla. Quality seafood with developed flavours and great service every time! I even got a “no-groan-I” or non alcoholic negroni cocktail 🍸 @ricksteinatbannisters @bannistershotels #bannisters #bannistersmollymook #hotel #boutique #boutiquehotel #seaside #ocean #holiday #getaway #ilovensw #nsw #travel #mollymook #stay #relaxing #weekend #luxury #food #fish #trevally #seafood #protein #grouper #fishtaco #taco #vegetables #rickstein
Milk Haus in Milton is cafe in the old Cheese Factory at Woodstock. Using local growers to supply their fresh fruit and vegetables, their menu focuses on whole foods. This is the sprouting charred broccolini eggs with wilted greens, smoked paprika, herb sauce served on a bed of yoghurt with poached eggs and the GF bread option. We also tried their Huevos Rancheros with black beans, roasted veggies, charred corn, avocado, coriander, sour cream and poached egg with flat bread. Both were nice but quite expensive at $25 each @milkhausmilton #milkhausmilton #milkhaus #milton #southcoastnsw #nsw #nswtourism #nswsouthcoast #ulladulla #woodstock #produce #fresh #healthy #localgrowers #grow #eggs #glutenfree #carbs #breakfast #brunch #foodie #oldcheesefactory #travel #holidays #food #blog #greens #wholefoods
