Winter Garden rooftop bar @East Village Hotel

Looking for a rooftop bar in the Sydney’s East to enjoy a few drinks? Look no further. Darlinghurst’s East Village has got you covered. With a beautiful outlook of the city skyline including centrepoint tower, East  Village is a great place to have a drink and take in the view. 

Don’t let winter put you off. East Village is currently running an event called the Winter Garden. With plenty of outdoor heaters and some nice drinks on the menu that will warm you up from the inside. The mulled cider is the perfect winter drink, served warm and not too sweet, with some nice spice.

You have your drink, now time to enjoy it with a bite to eat with some hearty winter dishes on the menu. We shared the currywurst, broad bean bruschetta and the beef bourguignon.

What better way to finish a winters meal than with hot cinnamon doughnuts seved with a dab of cream. The doughnuts plated in a rustic style and again, not overly sweet. They have some nice cocktails and the whisky based bloodhouse sour paired perfectly with this dessert.

A great spot for a drink and to take in the cityscape. The food service is slow paced, so enjoy the beverages on offer whilst you wait.
