When Industry Beans arrived in Sydney, coffee enthusiasts were excited to get in there fast. Although there’s plenty of specialty coffee shops around Sydney, we know this place does a good brew, having had a popular store in Melbourne already.
Sydney’s store is located in an old stone heritage building on York St, not far from the QVB in the CBD. A modern interior with a clean set up, as you enter you’re met with a long bench showcasing all their coffee gear – and a large La Marzocco coffee machine.
This place does pretty much every type of coffee you want. Milk based coffees, cold brew, filter, Affogato, iced coffee and
They even have a cold-brew coffee with coffee soaked Tapioca pearls and a coconut nectar soaked chai. There’s also house made teas, juices and smoothies.
This specialty roaster is also making headwaves with their integration of coffee flavours in their food. We really liked the Fruit sashimi, beautifully presented with cured rockmelon, wattleseed rice crisp, cold brew pannacotta, compressed watermelon, fresh seasonal fruit and coffee caviar. An absolute work of art and delight of flavours. There’s even a coffee-rubber Wagyu burger. Other meals include overnight oats, avocado smash, salads and baguettes.
Get in soon because the coffee is brilliant and food is sublime.
