Mov’in Boat – floating outdoor cinema!

Are you looking to have a relaxing and fun night out? Why not try something different and head into “Mov’in Boat”. It is a spectacular 1000 sqm floating platform is where you’ll find an outdoor cinema on Darling Harbour’s Cockle Bay. Get aboard a brilliant experience this Summer! It’s such a beautiful atmosphere and if you get in early, you can see the sun set!

Screenings take place from Tuesday’s – Sundays and take your pick of movies; whether it be a romantic comedy, old classic, family or blockbuster on a 4K quality screen. Check out their website for the program! We saw a classic “Life is Beautiful”.

Watch your movie from the comfort of a bed with a big cushions at $99.90 for two people, complete with a bedside table for you to put your food and drinks. You can even take your own yacht in (of course if you’re blessed enough to have your own!) for a fee $49.90 per boat. This is limited to 15 a nights. Even a row boat with tailored comfy seats is an option for the film spectating. Hire a row boat for $119.90 (up to four people -2 adults and 2 kids).

Whilst you’re there, why not order food or drink to be delivered to your bed; Haagen Daas ice cream and cocktails were our choice! There’s also an unlimited popcorn option!

If you want VIP action, there’s an ultra premium area with a VIP spot, private table, umbrellas, butler service, queen day bed, complimentary soft drinks, popcorn and access to the Star’s exclusive VIP Bar, including frozen cocktails with access to order food from an exclusive menu by The Star. The VIP option is $149.90 for two.

It’s certainly a fun night out!
