At the Carrington, you don’t have to choose between a few drinks at the pub or a night with best little pooch friend, because at this pub, both are possible. This dog friendly gastro pub has food for both yourself and your pup.
For human food, there’s plenty of smaller dishes for entrees like salt and pepper squid, which we ordered in addition to salads, steaks, burgers and schnitzels.
We love the specials on offer on our day of visit; the delicious pork and fennel meatballs with grilled broccoli and focaccia.
For the doggies, they have $6 meals; beef and veggies or rice with veggies which comes in a bowl for them, even inside the pub. As long as your dog stays on the floor and on their leash, they can stay!
It’s a pub so there’s obviously plenty of beers and wines which you can enjoy indoors or afresco.
Located on Bourke street, a quiet spot away from the busy Crown Street and the atmosphere is pleasant and chilled.
