Clay Coffee Collective is aptly named, for the cafe showcases a range of ceramics stacked up high as decor and each coffee ordered is served is a ceramic cup. We hear that the clay is care of Brigita Hammel, an Australian artist.
The cafe can be found in a narrow alley of the main strip of shops in Gerringong. A small cafe with a few seats inside, we find the atmosphere a little dark and dim, so could be lit up a bit.
They use Delano Specialty coffee, and on this occasion was the Maverick Blend, a good combination of acidity and sweet. Certainly best coffee in Gerringong. There’s milk based, filter, black and cold options. Not much in the way of food, just toast, granola and toasties. Grab a quality coffee and enjoy your day!
