Stacked is causal dining space serving up quality fresh and tasty sandwiches, taking that humble sandwich to the next level.

Sandwiches and bowls are all made fresh to order with fresh ingredients that are unprocessed, chemical free, without preservatives, and no hormones. They use grass fed beef, free range eggs and locally produced ingredients.

Stores are located in North Sydney and Mascot, and we visited the Mascot location. Found in the business area not far from the station, by 12 noon it was super busy with the local workers, so we can see how popular it was. Don’t let that phase you, for service was incredibly fast, which is awesome considering the crowd and the fact they’re made fresh.

If you’re there at breakfast time you can get bacon and egg rolls, a Croque Monsieur or even a grilled cheese sandwich. By lunch, there’s artisan sandwiches and bowls.

We ordered a sandwich and a bowl. For the bowl, we opted for the “Sakana” (fish), a bowl of brown rice, served with sautéed Kale, Avocado, Sweet Corn, Edamame, Cherry Tomatoes, Radish, Black Sesame Seeds and flavoured with Japanese Sesame dressing and a Drizzle of Wasabi Mayonnaise. Served with a beautifully cooked piece of seared salmon. The dressing gave it a lovely flavour and we really enjoyed this.

From the sandwich list, there’s rolls, subs and your regular sandwich style. We chose the “Smoky Bandit”, full of slow cured beef brisket, coleslaw, Swiss cheese, smoky bbq sauce on grilled buttery sourdough. A reminder of the favourite meats of the Southern United States. We chose to have this stacked, which is an extra serving of meat. The perfect meat lovers meal.

We also ordered ours as meals, and throughly enjoyed the fries – nice and crispy and well seasoned. Drink wise, the cold pressed juice was so good. The ‘stamina’, made mandarin, apple, pineapple, passionfruit, lemon, lime was beautifully refreshing.

Stacked has options for those with dietary requirements, including a vegan sandwich.
