Slims Quality Burgers located in Marrickville Metro, is reminiscent of a 1950’s Milk Bar concept, but also feels modernised with its decor and branding. They serve up simple and tasty burgers, as well as fries, milkshakes and sundaes. Even better, all menu items are under $10.
You can order via the front counter or your app, and food is pretty much ready in 5-10 mins. Food is served up on diner style trays, and burgers are wrapped in little paper bags for convenience and saving you from messy sauce drips.
There’s a good range of burgers from cheeseburgers to chicken and even veggie burgers. We try one of each as well as the works burger. The works burger is beef, grilled onion, maple-smoked bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and special sauce.
They are small, so if you’re hungry, we’d recommend ordering two. The hand cut fries are thin and slightly crispy, and you can get these plain, topped with cheese or the lot (onion and sauce).
If you’re keen for dessert, there’s soft serve, topped with hot fudge, cookie crumble, or even whipped cream. Grab a soda fountain drink and you’re set.
