Rolly’s Bistro

Rolly and Liarne, previously of the Matterhorn Swiss Restaurant Turramurra have taken up the chef duties inside the Waringah Bowling club in Mosman, at Rollys Bistro.

The venue has nice views of the city and it’s a great place to have a meal and you can enjoy a drink beside the well kept bowling greens. It’s super kid friendly and a fun ambience with music on a Sunday afternoon, a meat raffle and friendly locals. Staff were great, kind and attentive and made for a good experience.

The menu has a really wide range of food and have certainly provided that extra drawcard with the addition of a smoker, meaning you can get some mighty fine smoked meats. Think wings, ribs, brisket and more. We opted for one of their mix platters including smoked bbq wings, Memphis BBQ ribs, brisket with jacket potato and slaw. The ribs were super tender, as was the brisket and they provided additional sauce to pour on the meats. We absolutely loved the ribs.

We also ordered their harissa crusted salmon with salad, though they’d sold out, so replaced it with tuna on the day.

There’s also burgers, oysters, salads, steaks, beef stroganoff, schnitzels and even a gigantic pork knuckle. Pizzas are another great option and we loved the ham and pineapple pizza, crispy base and a tasty cheesy topping!

The range of menu options makes for a great family friendly dining venue where we’re sure everyone will be satisfied!
