When Kurt went out to Urbn Surf 🏄♂️ we took the opportunity to stay and have dinner at Rafi.
This sophisticated restaurant is a beautiful dining experience, beginning as soon as you walk in, you take in the amazing views over the wave pools and the set up of the restaurant is simply stunning, all creating an outstanding ambience.
We’re hardly surprised that the restaurant is hatted too, for Executive Chef Matias Cillóniz has put together a lovely and fresh seasonal menu inspired by the coastal elements of Sydney. The food was exquisite and we absolutely loved it, experiencing a faultless meal.
We ordered a few things to share and one of my favourite dishes of the year so far – was the steamed barramundi. It was beautifully cooked, served with chickpeas and the most stunning yuzu kosho sauce.
The dining party also shared the crispy eggplant, Wagyu and fries.
They also are inclusive of children, with a kids menu and an excellent one at that. We would happily have eaten their cheeseburger or calamari.
We thoroughly recommend dining there after a surf, or you can simply make the restaurant a destination venue. Check it out for sure!
