On the main strip of Redfern, Bloc 145 is a spacious, light filled cafe serving a range of modern Australian dishes that have a range of international influences. Each dish has been carefully considered and curated and presented beautifully on the plate.
The cafe has exposed brick walls, pipes and a long counter with quality coffee machinery which makes for a suave looking space. There’s a dining room out back and seating in the front for the coffee drinker.
We like that they’re a specialty coffee store and use artificer coffee beans. You can certainly pop in for a coffee and chill if you please.
I had the farmer jo granola with yogurt, rhubarb, apple, peach and a berry coulis. A lovely dish with great flavour combinations.
Next time I hear that their spaghetti bol should be on the cards.
The counter is filled with delicious daily baked goods and their croissants look amazing.
Service is efficient and very personable. They are also totally dog-friendly
