A contemporary little cafe busting in the Kiaora place in Double Bay. You’ll find a comfortable spot offering all day breakfast and lunch with Indoor and outdoor dining.
We sat alfresco and it was a nice spot to watch the comings and goings in the Kiaora shopping centre. The staff here were excellent, friendly and efficient in their service, checking in regularly.
The menu has a good range for everyone; granola, açai, porridge to name a few. We order the “Something Green” (DF, V and Vegetarian) with sauteed kale, Tuscan kale, spinach, smashed avo, Chlorella-cashew hummus, dukkah, puffed grains and poached eggs. This was a lovely light dish with plenty of flavour. It felt a bit small so we recommend serving it with a slice of toast.
A dish packed with flavour was the Spanish baked eggs with butter beans, chorizo, green pea, tomato, roasted Capsicum, two baked eggs, manchego and sourdough toast to mop up that extra sauce.
There’s also indulgent dishes like pancakes and burgers and a few varieties on the eggs benny if that strikes your fancy.
The coffee here is good too, the use the little Marionette. All in all, this is a lovely cafe that we would definitely return to.
