Wholegreen Bakery in Waverley / Clovelly is a bakery cafe, stocking a range of 100% gluten free products as well as those that are nut free, dairy free and refined sugar free.
In terms of products, they have bread, tarts, croissants, pies and muffins, amongst many more.
Bread wise, they have 4 types available including Plain, Seeded, Olive and rosemary, Activated charcoal and turmeric and Fruit. They are available as loaves, baguettes and rolls.
They also have a pastry range including croissants, pain au chocolat, almond croissants, fruit danishes, chouquettes, lemon meringue tarts, chocolate beetroot cake and chai spiced orange and carrot cake.
There’s also quiche, pasties and pies. I tried a delicious lentil and veggie pie that had a flavoursome filling and crunchy pastry exterior. They also have a great vegetable frittata (and other flavours too).
Pop by and try it out for yourselves, whether or not you’re on a gluten free diet. I’m not, and enjoy it all the same. And don’t forget to grab yourself a coffee too.
