Throughout 2020, with the rise of Covid19 and all the changes to dining and hospitality, I’ve made a concerted effort to remain passionate and dedicated to supporting businesses. I’ve continued to buy take out, dine in when regulations ceased. I’ve promoted businesses and even pointed out their focus on maintaining safe practices. They’ve needed help more than ever. As such, Google have rewarded me with being acknowledged as one of the World’s top 50 local guides in a new connect feature called Guiding Stars, for contributions made to Google Maps, activity in the program on Connect, involvement in local communities.
