Room 10 Potts Point has been a popular breakfast haunt in the narrow laneway Llankelly place, and the little spot is often hard to score a table. We understand why, for the food is quality and coffee is good too.
The tiny cafe and kitchen is pumping out food almost as quick as you order it, which we find suitably impressive considering the significantly sized menu options. The menu offers all-day breakfast and lunch with predominantly toast + add ons, sandwiches and salads. Their slow-cooked brisket sandwich with slaw, pickles, mustard and a sprinkling of chilli is a popular choice. They’ve even got a breakfast rice! We had the soft boiled egg on toast and avo with a side of cauliflower kimchi.
In addition, their cold dishes like the Farmer Jo granola is great.
You can get it with yoghurt or the overnight oats (Bircher) version. Topped with streamed rhubarb, yoghurt, fresh fruit, Strawberry, almond, macadamia and lemon Myrtle, it is so delicious!
For coffee they use Mecca as their go to and there’s a and a weekly rotating single-origin option for black.
If you’re going to visit, which we recommend you do, be sure to get in early! That said, tables are served fast.
