Cassiopeia – specialty coffee

Cassiopeia is a specialty coffee store, established in the Blue Mountains in 2006, there are now three espresso bars; in Katoomba, Springwood and Windsor.

They produce their own blend, roasting their own beans to provide a specialty coffee experience.

We visited the Windsor store, which has been open for three years. It is a heritage town, one of the oldest towns in NSW and we love that the area retains this feel. The coffee shop is a small space on the main street, George street of Windsor. It brings a modern aesthetic to its interior with it’s white and wood décor, and front of house coffee bean bags and products on display.

I dined in for a coffee and found the service to be pleasant and welcoming. The coffee is excellent, so much so, I devoured a large one, which I don’t ordinarily do. Subsequently I returned a few times more to enjoy a few coffees whilst in the area.
