The flagship store for Terracotta Roasters is what we describe as a hidden gem, located on a quiet corner of Darlington, close to Abercrombie and Cleveland St. They’ve opened a new store inside the Australian Railway Historical Society Alexandria serving the same great coffee, more suited to people in the go as it’s more takeaway style for the food.
The cafe roasts their own beans and this coffee venture is headed by former Australian Barista Championship judge Cedric Kim. He is honestly one of the nicest staff we’ve met, and his team carries this wonderful attitude in both stores.
Coffee wise, you name it, they’ve got it. Whether it is all-you-can-drink batch or cold brew, milk based or espresso. The coffee was flavourful, creamy and enjoyable.
The food at this outlet has toasts with spreads, avo on toast or wraps (which you can get as combos with your coffee).
If you’re in the area, be sure to try it out.
