Frisbee Joes is a bar and diner we found while heading out in Redfern and stopped in for a few cocktails. It occupies the space which was once Southside Chalmers. The bar is milk bar style in its set up and decor.

We sat at the bar near the front door with a nice breeze and comfortable atmosphere. The bar man was friendly and had good chatter and made us a few top notch cocktails.

We especially liked their espresso martini’s. They have some cool cocktails at a price that pleased us, $15 (so many bars are too pricy these days). There’s also beer, wine and small bar bites available such as tacos, cheeseburgers, toasties and buffalo wings.

Pay them a visit if in the area.
