Lou Lou is an all in one French boulangerie (bakery) and traiteur (deli) located in Milsons Point, Sydney, right below the Harbour Bridge.
At breakfast time you can grab a coffee and loaf of bread or patisserie good. There’s Parisian style chairs outdoors if you’re wanting to sit as you consume it.
We purchased the garlic and gruyere loaf, it has a crusty exterior and light fluffy bread with cheese inside – delicious! There’s also croissants, and sweet treats to go. We opt for the almond croissant, and it’s a good one! For the sweets, think Paris Brest, lemon meringue and basque cheesecake to name a few.
If you’re there for lunch and dinner, there’s French favourites like French onion soup, soufflé, steak frites and rotisserie chicken as well as things from the traiteur.
In the traiteur, theres produce and food to purchase to take home such as sausage, terrine and chicken liver parfait, and even salads and sandwiches.
The store also has a range of products you can purchase such as condiments, pasta and , alcohol.
We are only here in the morning for the baked goods but it looks so good, we must return for a French meal for sure.
