Mercure Kooindah Waters

We have been to the Mercure twice this year. The first was on the Easter Weekend, and it was so great because they had arranged a whole weekend of activities for the kids. There was a jumping castle, Easter egg hunt and even a little petting zoo! Inside was art and craft and even pizza making classes. We will definately return next year for this.

The resort is in Wyong, in NSW’s central coast, and if you’re staying there, you are really sorted for your whole stay. There is an on-site bar and restaurant, where we ate high quality food for dinner, and a buffet for our breakfast.

There’s a kiddies park, indoor and outdoor pool, tennis course, day spa, and championship golf course and pro shop. There’s plenty to do that’s for sure. Great for a romantic getaway, golf trip or a family holiday.

There’s standard king rooms, and larger apartments. We stayed in a dog friendly room (of which there are two) and this is such a great option to have. Apartments have microwaves, dishwashers, washing machines and a separate living and dining space to the room, which we like. Whilst the rooms are a tad outdated, which is the case for lots of hotels these days, they spacious and comfortable.

Staff were always helpful and eager to please. I. Addition, on our first stay, we had an electrical issue (blown fuse) and the hotel kindly had us return on the house. This was greatly appreciated. We did enjoy our stay and look forward to returning.
