We have been up to the Central Coast alot and also stayed in the Mercure Kooindah Waters Resort numerous times. On this visit, I saw a brochure to the Amazement Farm and Fun park. It was only 5 mins from the resort by car and we got there bright and early at 9:30 am which was perfect because it did get super busy.
It’s basically a a farm with heaps of farm animals which you can get up and close with like chickens, hens, Guinea pigs, rabbits, ducklings and baby goats that you can a really hold and feed in the petting area.
On site there’s also ponies, alpacas and peacock to feed as well as bird aviaries and reptiles.
You can feed and pat the kangaroos and there’s soon to be koalas. The park also has upfront animal encounters that you can pay a bit extra for.
The site also has big games of chess, Jenga, giant bowling, a kids park, a train ride included in your entry and there’s also a mini Ferris wheel and maze hedges to explore!
There’s an on site shop and cafe too. What an amazing day out!
