On a trip down the South Coast, my brother recommended this spot in Milton, seeing that it had recently opened. Formerly the hatted fine dining restaurant ‘Small Town Food and Wine’, they’ve rebranded and opened as Dellys really good sandwiches.
The new local sandwich shop is very American in its vibe, sporting a menu of sandwiches, crinkle cut fries, doughnuts, sodas and filter coffee.
We had the mushroom and taleggio with caramelised onion and parsley. The cheese melted perfectly and this combo of flavours was divine. Sliced in half, it worked well with a cup of their filter coffee. We also loved their lobster roll and think that we’d be happy with everything on their menu.
I don’t normally drink filter but since that’s all they have, I tried it. I really loved their filter coffee, using Supreme brand.
We would have returned but unfortunately it doesn’t open Sundays. For a tourist town, that’s a tad odd and we hope they do Sundays in the future.
