Bathers Coogee

Breakfast or lunch here overlooking the beach, indoors with the protection from the wind and sun or outdoors if you prefer the breeze. The fit out us beautiful and feels really refined, with the white and timber hues, set tables and welcoming wait staff who check in throughout the dining experience.

I like that the menu is original with unique dishes; creme brûlée for brekkie, wattleseed granola or lobster omelette. I love the citrus cured salmon with thinly sliced beetroot, beetroot horseradish, creme fraiche, and twirls of the salmon with roe. I opted for it on my favourite charcoal toast. This was a super nice meal.

There’s a seafood influenced lunch menu from 12 noon with the likes of lobster and yellow fin tuna, or some mainstream favourites like a cheeseburger. Kids are welcome too, with plenty of options for “nippers”.

Drinks wise, there’s beers, wines and cocktails so you’re all sorted. If you’re there at brunch time, there’s coffee by Seven Miles, and you can dine in or get takeaway by the sea.

The young man serving me was so lovely, friendly and welcoming. I appreciate his good service.
