Algorithm, Marrickville

Algorithm is a coffee shop I’d told many people about, yet never got to experience it yet! Finally got that chance recently for brunch. The cafe is on a prime corner in Marrickville, and whilst it’s a small spot, it can fit a decent amount of people, huddled around small tables on stools. The aesthetic is bright and white, minimalist and clean. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the cafe also has plenty of guests seated outdoors with their four legged friends.

We peruse the menu and are enticed by the truffle folded eggs but it was later in the day, so we opt for a chicken Foccacia; with avo and rocket – a good portion with a very tasty filling.

The curried egg bagel is also brilliant / a massive serving of smashed curried egg filling the inside of a bagel, with rocket and tomato.

We were a fan of the bagels and revisited for the salmon one too. I personally sampled their overnight oats with chocolate granola and fruits. I think the addition of some rhubarb or even a drizzle of honey would make this even better.

The cafe has some of the best cups of Mecca coffee since Panivore so if we’re out of area, we are definitely getting our coffee here!

They even have the “Rythm” – cold brew topped with their signature foam!

In addition they’re selling some delicious cookies – we had the hot cross bun chocolate one by @butterboybake but they’ve also got chocolate chip and salted caramel and white chocolate.

The Marrickville cafe is doing great things and we most certainly will be regulars.
