Kurt went on a phenomenal whisky tour in the town of Campbelltown to see the Springbank Distillery and do some whisky tours.

The tours took over 4 hours, and they toured the facility where they do everything old school, sampling some amazing drams of Whisky including a 32 year old bourbon cask Spingbank, a 24 year old Hazelburn Sherry cask.

They also got to blend their own bottle of cask strength whisky. What a morning!

It also includes a Stillman’s Platter Lunch in The Washback Bar (with cold smoked and hot roasted salmon, locally smoked mussels, salmon paté, local cheese and homemade chutney served with crusty bread and butter) to tie you over food wise, and this was excellent.

A bit of a trek from Glasgow, so you definately should stay in the area, and perhaps along the way too.
