Campari Red Nights Part II @Bel and Brio

Barangaroo, is one of the newest precincts in the Sydney CBD and is right on the water. The area is a business district and home to a number of relatively new restaurants and food outlets. For the month of August it is the site Campari have chosen to host their Campari Red Nights Campaign. With partner venues hosting Aperitivo hour, offering a complimentary Campari and Tonic while you shop. On this occasion we checked into Bel & Brio.

Bel & Brio is a sophisticated upmarket bar and dining venue. With dark wood panneling and brass fixtures. A classy establishment indeed, so much so that there is a familiarity to the venue, that can be related to the Bistros of Europe, with service and a menu to match.

Campari organised a suave event, with monograms provided by menswear lable TM Lewin. I decided on a pocket square personalised with initials.

The venue was painted red, lit up with a red neon tinge. The Drinks were flowing with Campari centric cocktails being consumed.

It was the perfect setting for sipping on a Campari and tonic whilst sharing the Bel & Brio Charcuterie board, which included a selection of top quality cured meats, cheese, bread and preserved fruit. It is still truffle season, so it made sense to order the mushroom bruschetta. The mushrooms sauteed with truffle, this gave the dish a rich flavour.

Another great event put on by Campari, check out the link below for future events. Thanks to Trish Nicol agency for the invite and to Bel & Brio for their hospitality, the menu looked amazing. We will return to sample more of the menu. See the below link, for more on Campari Red Nights.
