The perfect activity for the tourist and fitness enthusiast. Head down to the coastal walk where you can find the world’s largest free sculpture exhibition by the beach. Held annually, this event gathers crowds from all over the world.
Each sculpture has been perfectly fit for particular spot. There are 100 sculptures and you can purchase a catalogue to learn about the artists and their work to guide your journey along the 2km walk.
If you head to their site online, you can access a map to determine what’s best for mobility access. There’s a fair few stairs but some parts are more accessible than others.
Be prepared for it to be busy, plenty of people running by, taking photos and learning about the art. If you’re able to go mid week, we’d recommend that as a less busy time.
At the Bondi end, you’ll find a pop up cafe and there’s also plenty of free water stations and volunteers on hand to offer advice.
This outdoor gallery is a fun and interesting day out and you’ll certainly see some pretty engaging art.
