The 4th annual East Malvern Food & Wine Festival will be held on Sunday 17 November from 11am – 5pm showcasing an array of foods and wines on the lawns of Central Park.
The festival will feature food from plenty of Melbourne Food trucks such as 48 hour Pizza and Gnocchi Bar, The Greek Stop and Mushiki dumplings to name a few.
Stroll around the festival for more food from local artisan suppliers and you’ll find producers such as Cannings Free Range Butchery, Pud for all Seasons, Josh and Sue, In2Tea, Boondero Walnuts, Red Rock Olives, Nogo Sauces, Sticky Balsamic, Culinary Junction, Pali Baskets, Sunghue Chilli Sauce, Chai Addict, Wahrina Pistachios, Blue Tree Honey Farm, Olive Branch Preserves and more.
It will also showcase wines from 20 wineries across Victoria. Meet the wine makers, try their wines and learn about whilst you’re there.
The wineries visiting are those from the Victorian wine regions of Bendigo, Heathcote, Pyrenees, Yarra Valley, Rutherglen and Sutton Range. Try wines direct from their cellar door.
Wineries include: Turners Crossing, Innocent Bystander, Balgownie Estate, Red Edge, Noble Red Winery, Silver Spoon Estate, Chambers Rosewood Vineyards, Linnaea Vineyards, The Farmer & The Scientist, Rob Dolan Wines, Montalto, Heathcote Winery, Trentham Estate, Wine Selectors, Bike & Barrell, Buckshot Vineyard and Mount Avoca.
You can also try craft beers from breweries too including Darraweit Valley Cider, K.BOOCH Alcoholic Kombucha and Bad Shepherd Brewing Co.
For the cocktail lovers amongst us, one of our favourites, distillers Mr Blacks will be there, as well as Great Ocean Road Gin.
We couldn’t think of a better day out, trying out wines and a bite to eat in the sunshine. There’ll be music to entertain you and plenty of Masterclasses by Wine Selectors to participate in.
This event is free, and you buy food and wines as you see fit. Wine tasting glasses, Wine Selections masterclasses and ticket packages are available on the day from the Tasting Ticket Marquee, starting at $20.
