Frugi is a family owned business in Braddon, Canberra. It was recommended to us by a few people who’d visited. It is a dessert store, which makes all of their ice cream, gelato, cakes and chocolate from scratch.
Ice creams can be bought in waffle cones, cups, or in take-away tubs. They also have ice cream sticks other desserts like semifreddo and parfait.
Flavours change daily but on our visit there was salted caramel, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, chocolate macaron, rosewater, soursop, raspberry, and the flavour we chose – black truffle in vanilla. We got it in a cup, and it was nice and creamy with a good hint of truffle. Very enjoyable!
