Neko Neko is a Vegan and pescatarian restaurant in the heart of Newtown.
We really liked their Teishoku set with 8 vegan side dishes and rice. We ordered ours with sashimi but on its own is Vegan. You can add vegan soy minced meat, karage or swordfish if you so please.
We also had a mini vegan ramen, gyoza and edamame. The menu has a good range of vegan ramen as well as Japanese Curry.
Ramen was great and we really liked the fried tofu pockets that you can order as an extra to come with it.
The restaurant was super busy and they were able to accomodate us as a walk in, although we did sit outside. Staff were efficient and our meal came out quite fast. It’s a tad expensive for casual dining.
