We haven’t ventured to Earlwood much before, but did so to check out Mister Fish. And it seems that this is the place to be, for the causal eatery has swarms of people ready to order takeout or grab a seat inside.

The restaurant has cool styling, a pastel palette, hanging pendant lights and a menu donning the outdoor wall. The ambience is playful and their music makes for a fun experience. The crowd is a mix of ages and would certainly suit any demographic.

Why not order the ever popular, peoples favourite, the nostalgic battered fish and chips or seafood basket or some modern additions like the golden coconut shrimp.
We love our seafood and opt for the Woodfired shellfish, a lovely mix of scallops, pipis, mussels and prawns. A nice woodfired flavour and perfectly cooked fresh seafood.

Their award-winning Prawn & Snapper Pie (placed silver in the Great Aussie Pie Competition 2021) is a must order. A secret flavour that we feel is maybe slightly curried, which is encased by golden flaky pastry.

We also order a fresh bowl, a mix of brown rice, seaweed, cucumber, cabbage carrot and a sesame vinaigrette. We added the super fresh salmon sashimi. This is refreshing and a decent portion.

Whilst you’re there, why not order a few sides, whether it be calamari, potato scallops, fries or sweet potato fries. There’s also kiddies meals too.

Drink wise, they’re licensed, so you can enjoy a wine or beer with you dinner.

We found the experience to be excellent and the delicious food will surely see us return.
