If you’re looking for a feast, here’s the place! East Phoenix is a Chinese restaurant in East Village in Zetland serving up Yum Cha and amazing Chinese food ala carte.
The restaurant is spacious so you could take a big group, or even dine in one of their private rooms.
We start with Prawn and Pork Shumai, as well as the ever popular and incredibly tasty steamed BBQ pork buns.
We also order the whole duck, served in its first course as duck pancakes, followed up by san Choy bao. The duck was cooked well, nicely flavoured and sliced perfectly at our table.
We supported this with a scallop and vegetable dish, some mixed veggies and some Chinese tea.
There’s plenty of your Chinese favourites, quality seafood, rice and noodle dishes. You can also find yum cha on weekends.
We thought the food here was really good quality and can’t wait to try their yum cha!
