Restaurant 317 is a family friendly dining venue in Parramatta. Whilst it’s in and amongst a high volume of restaurants, this one is the longest-standing restaurant on Church St.
They boast a modern Australian menu inspired by global travels and do feature lots of Italian ingredients and in house made pasta.
A standout feature of restaurant 317 is that all of the menu is Halal Certified and the first in NSW to be Coeliac Accredited. This means all diners can come together and enjoy the food since it’s diverse and accessible.
The restaurant has menus via a QR and then place your order with staff. Seafood, meats, pastas and on offer, and there’s also a well stocked bar for beer, wine and cocktails.
We shared one of their popular hanging skewers, and we had the duo of beef and chicken. It was cooked really nicely and the meat was succulent. Came served with fries, but we think a bit of salad would go down well with it. We also shared a seafood plate, complete with grilled fish, prawns, scallops, calamari and a fattoush salad. It was nicely cooked and a very decent portion.
Our little guy had a kids pizza and we appreciated that this came out fast.
You can also book the large space next door for private celebrations or corporate functions with its own dedicated services and sommelier team and we could see a beautiful event happening when we visited.
