Tilda Dining is an amazing new restaurant inside the newly refurbished Sofitel Wentworth. Classified as relaxed dining, which it is, for the staff are welcoming, casual and it’s so not pretentious. But at the same time it is also very sophisticated, both in the aesthetic and food on offer.

Have a drink at Bar Tilda first, with creative cocktails inspired with whisky, and native ingredients.

You may have heard of this as they’re all the news in socials for their bread and butter service! Whilst it costs $39, it does serve 2-4 people (more on the serves 4 side, the Butlers silver plate comes filled with AP saltbush focaccia, Pepe Saya butter, macadamia, seared jersey milk cheese, wildflower honey, wattleseed. You might find that you will come back just for this!

This menu is outstanding and there were so so many things on the menu we’d like. It has a very approachable menu with a focus on meats and seafood but also plenty of veggies, so we’re sure basically any diners would be happy. We opted for the mixed grill which comes with MB7+ Wagyu Striploin, half-shell scallops, lobster, grilled yellow beans, chopped salad, condiments and hassleback potatoes. The lobster was incredible! This meal took the stress of ordering away and was great to share between two people.

We definately must return for more, as well as dessert, which we couldn’t fit in this time.
