We returned to Rozelle Espresso to check out their updated menu and noticed they have partnered with The Tiny Giant to add the fairy floss brioche to the menu which is a bright and exciting choice. The cafè is centrally located across from the school that hosts Rozelle markets, making it a great place to stop after working up an apetite browsing.
Rozelle Espresso is a large cafe with plenty of seating and you can also reserve a table if required. It has a great amount of light and a really lovely casual place to enjoy your morning breakfast or coffee.
It is family friendly and there is a play area and toys which would interest those with families. The atmosphere and decor is very kitsch with chalkboard walls and old school memorabilia. They have a huge menu with breakfast and brunch options as well as lots of choices for lunch. The prices are also extremely reasonable.
I went for the waffles – two waffles; crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, topped with fresh fruit – banana, strawberries, blueberries, and also a small pot of maple syrup. This dish was so pretty!! We also got a sticky date butterscotch cupcake – divine. You could also pick from plenty of other sweets too.
We loved it so much that we went back a second time to try out some new items on the menu. The truffled egg carbonara pasta was a hit, a full flavoured truffle pasta seved with an 72 hour truffle infused egg on top, bacon, onion and a touch of cream. This was outstanding – delicate flavours and a generous serving.
Another new addition to the menu is the Rueben sandwich which we loved. The sandwuch was massive filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, american red cheddar and thousand island dressing which came with a side salad!
A great cafè with lovely staff and efficient service. Perfect for catch up with friends or family day out. This combined with some exciting new menu options, and you are onto a winner. Thanks to CPM for arranging our return visit and to Rozelle Espresso for their hospitality.
