Franca’s Boulangerie – weekend market

Franca is a contemporary Brasserie serving French and European influenced cuisine, located in Potts Point at 81 Macleay St. Whilst we haven’t been to the brasserie, we made this place a destination visit since we heard they were doing a Boulangerie Market! Held on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am until sold out, on the terrace in front of the entrance to restaurant.

We were so glad we got there, for it is the most incredible spread of baked goods we ever did see! Start with some freshly baked bread in house, a cheddar and chive scone or a quiche as your savoury and move onto some desserts.

It was a tough task to decide what to buy. Pecan and Maple roasted topped donuts, creme brûlée or lemon meringue pie? What would take your fancy? We bought a salted caramel decadent chocolate tart as well as a sweet pear tart, a strawberry tart and a passion fruit muffin. Each item was super tasty and absolute worth the trip.
