Located on the corner of Gannons Road and Burraneer Bay Road is a stylish, light filled cafe with pastel pink and white interiors, called Our Father.  The cafe features an all day menu with brunch options and a few extra lunch options … Continue reading Our Father

We’d been following the Happyfield Instagram from it’s inception, hanging for it to open. So had everyone else, clearly, for the café is always exceptionally busy. We took a cold morning as the opportunity to head to the café in hope of a shorter wait. We arrive around 9:15am and put our name down and … Continue reading Happyfield @ Haberfield

Two Bobs Bakery can be found on Yacaaba Street in Nelson Bay. Barbetta is an all day modern Italian cucina/trattoria in Elizabeth Street, Paddington, and it really feels like you’ve been transported to a bustling cafe in Italy. Even the names of the dishes get you thinking you’re there. The decor is in fitting too, with a bistro feel, retro counters, fully stocked bar and small section … Continue reading Barbetta @ Paddington

The Boathouse group has a number of beautiful venues, in waterside locations, with 8 venues across Sydney such as Palm Beach and Balmoral. Meet Gerard @ Alexandria

November 7, 2020November 9, 2020Leave a comment

We’ve been to Meet Gerard before, a few years back but it had sadly fallen off our radar with all the busy blogging weekends. Passing by recently, I decided to revisit and so glad I did, for it was just as good as I remembered. I then returned the following week. The cafe, located on … Continue reading Meet Gerard @ Alexandria

Estabar cafe in Newcastle is in a great location right on the beachfront, with a street level and risen area, it’s perfect to check out the waves and enjoy your brekkie outdoors if you so please. This was the best experience of our Newcastle visit, for the food was amazing and each and every staff member was so friendly and welcoming. Service was so fast and we were overall super impressed. There’s so many great sounding food options and can grab eggs your way with a choice of additions. We both ordered scrambled, one with a macadamia and miso pesto and the other with brinjal pickle, feta, fresh curry leaf dukkah. These were both so tasty and a little different to the regular scrambled eggs we’d get so we enjoyed it a lot. Combined with a single 0 coffee, it was a great brekkie @estabar_ #estabarnewcastlebeach #estabar #newcastle #holidays #travel #holidayvibes #food #eggs #scrambledeggs #bread #sourdough #rye #breakfast #brunch #foodie #blog #coffee #cafe #latte #flatwhite #cappucino #singleo #singleorigin #coffeelover #caffeine #espresso
Out and about in Merewether, Newcastle for the Rip Curl Pro - checking out the street art 🖼 surfing 🏄‍♂️ and enjoying the sunshine ☀️#newcastle #merewether #beach #beachside #surf #wsl #ocean #surfing #waves #art #graffiti #paint #pro #ripcurlpro #corona #nsw #travel #holidays #getaway #explore #sunshine
We were up in Merewether last weekend to check out the WSL surf comp. We tried Convoy Commune for a coffee which is made with their own signature blend using a blend of specialty beans from Brazil, Costa Rica and Ethiopia. An interesting flavour of malt and chocolate. We enjoyed the coffee. Whilst we though the decor fits perfectly with its beachy vibes, the cafe is currently undergoing renovations so it will be interesting to see the changes! @convoycommune #convoycommune #merewetherbeach #merewether #newcastle #espresso #latte #filter #coffee #wow #love #cappucino #mocha #flatwhite #trueprotein #smoothies #decor #beachy #beachvibes #tea #shakes #chocolate #milk
