Burnt Honey 🍯 Bakery

We’re always on the hunt for a good bakery, and every time we find one, we stock up! We were made aware of Burnt Honey by our good friends at Theorigincorner, who are also fans of a pastry or two.

We were on a day trip to the central coast and so decided to pay the local community bakery a visit. Located at Copacabana, the bakery is a small little spot opposite the beach. If you weren’t in the know, we doubt you’d find it. From external appearances, it just looks like your normal bakery, but we recommend you line up, for their pastries are unlike anything you’ve seen.

This artisan bakery has an amazing range of creative pastries and breads. There’s both savoury and sweet. We tried the zaatar and feta scone, dulce de leche and banana pastry with chocolate crumb and a mustard and cheddar beat claw! They were delicious!

They also have products to go, like bags of cookies, salts, spices and cheeses in their little retail offering.

The bakery does coffee too, and we like that they are ethically focused, environmentally friendly, serving coffee in a proper mug to avoid wastage.

Most certainly worth the trip
